Default spun a bearinging

dropped the oil pan the other day and the 2nd rod bearing has been spun because i can move the rod around on the crank. it also took the oil squirter with it. before the bearing went the oil presure gauge went off the chart to 100psi. anyone know what may have caused this?

a lot of things could of done it; lack of oil, improper bearing clearances, etc
