Spun Bearing Question
I'm curious I have a friend who is having an engine swap into his car and the swap is almost done and it turns out that the engine has a spun bearing and I'm wondering could something the mehanics at the shop he's dealing with be at fault? I don't question it much becuase the shop he's dealing with sounds like they're pretty incoherent. I doubt they even changed any belts or gaskets before install.
So the mechanics are the one who did the swap? The only thing I can think of (which I think wouldn't really happen) is if they started it with no oil in the engine. I believe that spun bearings are usually caused by over revving. But I suppose no oil could do it.

for shizzle! As long as you already measured out the tolerances, lube her up. Better to be overly lubed than dry. "When in doubt, add more lube"
