which springs are best?
i have a 94 civic coupe, im trying to get all my suspension done it now, i have some koni yellows already bought from a friend for cheap and now i need springs. so what springs do you all reccomend? im looking to drop 1.5 to 2 inchs to close up some gap and also i want it to handle decent. i was considering some tein S-tech but after reading some posts ive been getting there a little to soft for everyones tastes. also considering some Omni-power coils, but id prefer non-adjustables over adjustable just so i dont have to deal with adjusting them. would you guys reccomend i get adjustables or non? i have about $200 to spend on springs so let me know what you guys reccomend.
thanks
thanks
i dont think there is such a thing as NON-adjustable coilovers...thats where springs take over. I have H&R race springs and they say they are recommended for track use but i drive on em daily. They and nice and stiff but watch out for potholes cuz **** goes crazy. The only ppl that complain bout the bumpy ride is the Grandma and every other girl thats in my ride.

Actually, all Honda shock and spring combos are considered coilovers - they are a coil spring placed over a shock. However, there is a difference between coilover shocks, adjustable coilover shocks, and adjustable coilover sleeves. Just wanted to clear that up.
If you want a very good spring to go with your Koni Yellows and get a pretty significant drop (~2") - I would try Eibach Sportlines (1.5"), Neuspeed Sport or Race, H&R Sport or Race, or Progress springs. I really like Progress springs, they will work great with your shocks. Progress springs with the Konis on the bottom perch will be almost exactly the same height as Neuspeed Race (pretty low).
Also, the Eibach Sportlines will work great as well. However, the drop will seem a bit uneven (lower in the back), so you might want to put your front Koni perches at the lowest level, and the rears at the middle or highest level to even it out.
