Default spring install problem

Ok, i've posted this on other boards but haven't gotten any real answers, so i figured you guys might know....

a friend of mine and I put my Nuespeed Race springs on my 94 Del Sol today...

we ran into a few problems that i wanted to ask you guys about.

First one, after we had the spring on and we put the housing back up in there and compressed the shock again, a huge amount of a liquid started pooring out. It was a very thin liquid, not thick like hydraulic fluid, we think it was all the lubricant we sprayed on the bolt on the top of the shock, any other ideas on what this was?

Second, and the big one, after we got the springs on and we put the rims back on, a funny thing happened, we were driving it around my circle and a VERY loud poping noise came from three of the wheels, all except the passenger front. We raised the car back up and spun the wheel to figure it out and we realized the rim was loose on the lugs. We tightened the lugs all the way down and the rim still wiggled back and forth. I have no idea what the hell is going on, any ideas would be apreciated. Thanks guys

(sorry this was so lengthy)

i think the reason nobody is posting is because you just ruined a rim and the leaking shock is bad.

Could be wheel bearings. But it wouldn't make sense for 3 of your wheel bearings to go bad after installing springs. Are you sure you torqued down the lower control arms to spec? Miss anything, did anything come loose?
