it puts less strain on your battery and alternator, and also helps get rid of EMI in your stereo.

Okay now to answer and now trash talk
before hand u bought this used or off a open package since u are missing one other wire that connects from the valve cover to the radiator support, anyways to answer what u have and to help u install

the #3 goes from the battery to the subframe or anywhere close enough that there is a good ground contact

#2 connects to ur alternator bracket(long ain't it!?!)

#1 connects to ur starter bolt

I see ur missing also the bracket that connects al this to the bracket from the negtive post on ur battery that is good as it was design to be used with Jap batteries which have a smaller posts and also this is to answer why are they so long???

again this was for a RHD JDM Honda not liek our cars LHD so u will need to find hide areas to wrap the wire to not have to much slack
