by the way they dont have those rings engraved on them just lke the ctr cams...

 

hmm...
either Spoon/honda is using new cores or you have a set of older Spoon cams. You can always check the lobes.....

hey kataman the manufacturing date on the box is sept 1 2000 the date it was manufactured anyway.. wat you thinK havent answered my question yet.. is it a street cam or the race cam?

 

As far as I know, Spoon doesn't make a pure 'race only' cam. Their cams are streetable. A dohc vtec cam with no primary or secondary lobes, and ONLY Mid lobe (vtec lobe), are considered 'race only' cams.

hey tanx for the reply! yeah i know about whats the primery secondary and vtec cam lobe is.. but do u mean that spoon only makes the vtec lobe bigger?i mean.. what do u mean by this? i still dont get it..

have you ever seen teh TODA Killer cams? ....you'll see what I'm talkin about if you see a set of those. Check out Toda's site I think they have pictures of them on there......total RACE only cams.

If they are real Spoon Cams then they are their Street cams. Their Race cams are not sold to the public, Only to race teams in Japan and selected few friends of Spoon Sports. They are used in N1 Group A and are similar to Toda Spec B's
