2003 TL, the speedometer (milage) is displayed electronically on the instrumental cluster. I'm planning to replace some bulbs on it with brighter/white ones...Will taking out the cluster (disconnecting it from power and left it there for awhile) erase/reset the milage on it (in case if the backup battery in there run out of juice....if there is one)? I'm afraid of doing it because of this.

Does the milage stored onto the cluster itself or elsewhere? Thx.

 

ive seen the cluster taken off in a 99, it does not reset

99 model is mechanical. Does the memory (for electrical models) stored in the cluster itself?
