Default Speedo works when it wants too

94 accord ex with h22 euro r swap.. Speedo works when it wants too.. I have tested the voltage at the vss plug and have a full 12 volts, I have checked the continuity for the wire that goes to the ecu which was .6 ohms. I have gotten a cel code for the vss so i replace it with a new one and still problem exists.. Since i have changed the vss i have not gotten a code yet but it has only been 2 days.. Have also used dielectric grease on the plug. I have read about the speedo circuit board could be bad but would that throw the vss code or work sometimes.. Odometer only works when the speedo is working. I have two ecus for the car and both do the same. Any input would be helpful.. Thank You

i had that problem one time and it was the plug that goes into the speed sensor. i went to a local junk yard and got another plug, installed it and never had a problem again.

The new vss i got has no pigtail plug.. The plug is built into the vss so i dont know.. Ive been thinking about taking the car to my dads shop and putting in on the lift while in gear and messing with the plug and wires to see if it comes on goes off ect..
