They have a vaccuum pump attached to a little "jar" filled with fluid, I think about $30 at Pep Boys. You can also do the poor man's method I used growing up- coffee can, with hose attached to bleeder valve going into coffee can full of fluid. You have to pump a few more times to get the air out, but it works. You can also get a little kit at Pep Boys for <$10.
I think he is talking about the speed bleeders from http://www.speedbleeder.com. I've never used them, but they look to be a good idea. Instead of you under the car with the bleeder valve open while someone pumps the brakes and you have to shut it, you use the speed bleeders. Turn them something like a quarter turn, then go inside and pump your breaks. It allows air to go out, but not come back in. Anyways, let us know if you try them and how they work.
I have a set on my car. They are great. Instead of opening and closing the bleeder screw, you can leave it open with these, and pump as long as you feel air in the line. It really is a one man operation. I recommend them to everyone.
