Default spark plugs cause missing?

hey guys this might be a silly question but when it comes to spark plugs what are the main differences? For my B18b1 that im having a few problems with right now i used regular NGK plugs from honda, they were like $3.xxCDN each. Now when i check online for B18b1 plugs there like $13US each so im wondering if thats what is causing my car to idle rough when warm and die and also cause the lack of power before 3000rpm.

Also i have swapped spark plug wires with another set i have that i tested the resistance on and it made no difference but could those still be the problem eventhough they are well within specs in the manual?

Lastly i wanna know what the tip of the rotor should look like if its working properly and what it would look like if its bad. ive only had the rotor for like 15000km and im just trying to rule things out of my car problems.

I have another thread but im tired of bumping it so basically the problem is:
-Idles fine when cold
-starts to stumble when the temp gauge starts to go up
-when warm it will die at idle most of the time unless u hold the gas pedal
-before 2500-3000rpm in every gear the car feels powerless even at WOT but above that it pulls just as hard as it did before in my other car.

Setup is a 97 B18b1 in a 98 dx running off of an obd1 LS ECU.

Sounds kinda like what happened when my brother-in-law's TPS went bad on a B18c1, but it's just a guess...

its weird, if u listen very close on cold idle u can hear it idle up and down ever so slightly like a vacuum leak. When warm it gets worse and almost stalls out. MY alt adjustment pulley somehow came loose and my alt belt slipped off and after that happened it felt like the low end and lack of power below 3000rpm got a little better but not fixed completely. i think like the 3 or 4 bottom bolts on the IM arent tight enough but i dont thnk that would cause the whole problem.

im still wondering if the plugs would cause a problem.
