Are they MSD wires ? That happens to them.
If not your wires should be replaced. OEM is the best to use.
Make sure the spark plugs are snug in the threads. Don't overtighten them just tight enough.
Feel the plug when it makes contact with the head. Then about a 1/8 to 1/4 turn more, if there's no washer.
