last week I replaced my spark plug wires and spark plugs with bosch platinum 4' and msd plug wires. today i popped my hood and 3 of the 4 wires were back out of the valve cover. They were still touching the spark plugs because the engine was runnig fine but they were pushed out a little. Are my spark plugs not tight enough? Its a 95 dx d15b7 but the box for the wires says 88-91 civic but there all d series so it shouldn't matter, right? Please help because honestly it scared me a little.

 

You got the wrong wires....they are too fat and the heat pops them out.

 

I just talked to the guy at swift and he said the MSD says that its the same part number for both.

 

OEM. I did a huge search on wires. OEM wires that were 8 years old out preformed the brand new MSDs and NGKs, although I have MSDs.... Anyways as for then popin out, its cause they fit poorly.... thats all that there is to it...

go to any store and buy dialelctric(sp?) greese. You put it in the rubber boot on the spark plug. Lube it up nice and good and then try pushing it back on, you probably dont have them seated
