Default spark plug??? help please

ok, heres my story, i bought a b16a2'd civic, there was black crap, coming out of my exhaust when i started my car, someone told me i'm probly running rich, and i should try replacing my plugs, i then pulled my plugs, they were denso iridiums, one was all crapped up, and the gap was HUGE, the gap was different from all the others, anyway, i replaced the plugs with stock plugs, NOW, when i get to higher rpms ( 6-8k) its just not the same power as before, could my car be running lean since i changed the plugs, and maybe it was tuned with the densos? im stumped, should i get some denso's and put them in??? also, what should i gap the plugs at, any suggestions?

this might be confusing to understand, please help, ask me questions if you dont understand

thanks

Yes try back the Denso(new one) keeping the same gap on both stock and Denso to eliminate the spark plug issue.

You should use NGK PFR6L-13 or DENSO PK20PR-L13 in a b16. They are platinum plugs, and the gap is 1.3mm or .051 in. Platinum plugs come pre gaped out of the box, but it is always good to recheck the gap.

OOOOOO, ok, i think i figured it out anyway. my oil was like MAD thin, didnt even stick to dip stick, i ran a whole bottle of sea foam thru her the other day, and i have drivin like 300 miles since, i added some oil (almost 3 quarts to be exact...) i didnt think the seafoam would effect it that much, does this sound normal? im changing my oil tonite, completely, would that make it pulll less at high rpms? if it was so thin, and non existant

i suck
