Im about to slap the b16 head on the ls using the golden eagle kit and head studs. Do you guys have any tips for me that would help or speed up the process? Anything I should watch out for? I got all the main things I need but was wondering if there are any small things I would need like teflon tape, etc.? Also about the timing belt.. all I do is slide it over so I can get the ls head off and slide it back on the cam gears when the head is on and assembled? Thanks guys..

yeah im pretty sure.. ive done motor swaps. hopefully this isnt too complicated.. just wanted to make sure of everything b4 i start this. what would you recommend doing with the timing belt to make the process easier?
assembly lube.
coper spray/ hylomar whateva you want to use as hg dressing.
of course a torque wrench. one in in-lbs and one in lbs
i find it easier to zip tie the timing belt to the gears when setting timing; makes it easier to concentrate on point instead of trying to keep the belt from slipping out of the gears

so let me get this straight.. your saying i could zip tie the timing belt to the ls cam gears, remove the cams from them, remove the head, place the vtec head in place, and attach the vtec cams to the ls cam gears? just trying to understand
