Default somewhat technical sleeve ?

jgs - iron ductile,closed deck
goldeneagle- assuming iron, buttressed opendeck
darton/aebs - spincast nodular iron, closed deck

do the piston rings seat better than thee other, considering how theyre made? or its all the same, dont matter.

im looking at the goldeneagle, therye butrresed and opendeck, in my opinion,
i would belive it keeps the upper cylinders cooler than closedeck. Is thyere a wesite for them?

ill be sleeving a b18c, with bigbore pistons(na) this year-dailydriver. So does anybody have any 1st hand experince with any one of these, especially dailydriven streetcars? any recommendations welcome.
thanx

The sleeves are open decked and made of Nodular Ductile Iron...
They do some of the best work in the business from what I hear ...
Overboost has an article on them in their tech section...

You are right in the assumption that a open deck configuration helps cool the cylinders better than a closed deck... that is why GE goes to the trouble of removing your old sleeves and completely replacing them with Iron ....
cost is 750.00 dollars ... will cost more (look above) for pistons...

Darton does some fine work also...
