Default Somethings Binding! *HELP*

Ok, I need my car for work, so hopefully someone can help me figure this out. My friend and I dropped in a 93 LS Motor into my 92 Civic EX 4 Door. EVerything was good accept the first time we tried to fire it up, it wouldn't start, we found out it was because the timing belt was off a couple teeth. We got it started the next day and the car started doing some funny stuff, and the clutch pedal sank to the floor so my friend killed the power. After that we noticed that something was binding. Every say 1/5 of a turn on the crank pulley and it would lock into place and you would hear a "ping" from the tranny side. We took off the started and it got louder. The crank pulley is a little hard to turn then when it gets near 1 full rotation well it gets easy. We are pulling the tranny off today, but is there any suggestions as to what it could be? Clutch kit is new, new throwout bearing, new axels. Looked under the car at the flywheel and there is no new scratches on it, when we put our finger on the slave cylinder you can feel the "ping" through that like maybe something is hitting that in the trans or something. I ned my car for work so any and all help is very much appreciated.

If you need more info let me know.

we figured out the problem. The throwout bearing that came with my clutch was fucked. It was not the right one so it got mangled, we put the one that came with my trans in that was brand new and the car is perfect now. So i'll be writing to the company I baught my clutch from to complain and get compensated for that mess.
