Default something is wrong with my bucket...

i have a 89 civic SI with a ZC DOHC swap...
it was running all good and everything... then it started making noise in the engine... i took it home and it didn't want to crank again...
the distributor siezed... and it jacked up the timing... so i got a new one... and put it on...
it didn't fit right... when i cranked it the distributor would move in a circle... i mean the whole think would move...
at first i thought it was the cam that was warped, but them my friend put a penny inside and it stopped moving... i guess it needed like a washer or something...
now it's fine... it doesn't move or anything... but now the engine light is on and it revvs up super hard... like it sounds wierd when it hits 4k RPM... it sounds like it's redlining...
it has a reprogramed that doesn't have a rev limiter... so he always takes it up to and above 8 or 9....
but what could be the problem...
how do i check cels on that car..??¿¿ and ¿what should i do...?
did i mess up the valves, or head..??? i don't understand what could be wrong...
i thought it was the computer... but it looked fine...
what do you guys think..?? please help...

Check all your fuses....... in the car and under the hood.

To check the Codes look at the ecu .. is it blinking... count the blinks.. come and tell us... how many blinks you got..... 1 long blink counts as 10 and short blinks are 1

The code will tell ya why its not reving... get back to us
