Hope i made my point acrossto both of you, but mainly the buyer of the car. the girl that bought my car (16 years old) is more of a man then you are, sorry.

Homie, take his help and try to work it out. I know you're frustrated, but the best help is from the previous owner. He does know every inch of that car better than anyone.

I never needed anything from the DMV... when we bought it, all they asked was to smog it, and they'll give her a duplicate title. never ONCE heard of bills of sale from the past 5 or so owners..... thats kinda rediculous (talk to a different rep at the DMV) and i gave you MY info, my EX GFs info, and the owner before that.... im sure he can tell you who he bought it from.

that transmission issue is news to me.... i raced it all the time and daily drove it with ZERO problems...

you yourself said "wow, cable feels much different that hydro" (as you grinded it into gear) when i drove it for the 10 minutes or so..... did it seem like it had a tranny problem? didnt it bark 3rd gear real hard? (we commented about that)

as far as the VAFC goes..... i'm sorry.... it has always worked fine except for the first day or so when i was initially setting it up, after that it worked good, then went to the dyno at the dyno shop (619) 562-3933 and tuned it (call em and give em the vin, they'll vouch the car was there, its in their records) not to mention, i gave you the complete book on how to wire it and set it... if youre not happy with the tune, by all means, its your car.... REDO it.

and the iacv code is an easy fix.... and i never had ANY car that i have owned throw that code ever..... but its totally cheap and easy to fix.

if i buy the car back, im offering $1500..... take it or leave it.

or ask for my help to install a new valve ( employee price at my work )

its all on you..... , i want to help and remain friends.

can i use the iacv from my old d15b7..i heard that they are all the same...1500 is a ridiculous price so i guess im gonna try to fix this thing...its just gonna take forever to finally get this thing in my name...plus i have to take it to a test only center...and i cant find anyone up here willing to do it...if we can still drive down to SD and do it that would be cool...the tranny also doesnt have any problems engaging in any other of the gears...u think it could have something to do with the cut and weld linkage?what kinda mounts did u use for the swap...and if i wanted to change the linkage to a non cut one what type would i use???can i still get that stock intake mani..i really wanna make those itb's work..lemme know

dont go to triple A (AAA) go to the DMV.

yeah, i think the D15B7 will work.

the mounts are all 91 integ LS, and a custom front mount....

thats a pretty good cut n weld linkage, i'd keep it....

but hasport makes a pretty good one too.

of course we can go to SD to smog it....

and of course you can have the stock B16 manifold, you'll want to use it for the ITBs.

just let me know.

well im gonna go to the dmv tomorrow and see what they say...i couldnt imagine it would be any different..but well see..so if i wanna go ls/vtec i could pretty much use all the same mounts except for the front one huh...well im gonna swap out the iacv tomorrow from my old motor...hopefully this will take care of my problem...we can always arrange a meeting time to go down to SD..i just wanna get all the paper work done before hand...i still got a question..is the iacv located behind the throttle body or behind the manifold?

you can still use the front mount with LSVTEC....

its behind the manifold. kinda weird looking L shaped deal, or resembles a gun? LOL kinda hard to explain, but when you see it, you'll understand.

well i swapped the iacv from my old motor today and it made no differance..the light still comes on even after reseting the ecu....im starting to wonder if it is even the iacv that is the problem...when the car is cold i can only start it with my foot on the gas...and i gotta keep my foot on it till it warms up...if i take my foot off before it warms up it just drops to five hundred rpm and just dies...but once it warms up the car runs fine...what do u think it could be???

i highly doubt its the wiring.

yeah, when it was cold, i had a problem with a rough idle too, right after swapping in the maxbore tb, if you want a stock B16 tb, i'll trade you.

i dont know about swappin em..u wanna just give it to me...haha..if not how much u want for it.....but my question is...did ur cel 14 light come on ever turn on...also did it do any of the other things mentioned??

[QUOTE=AMPYR_one..when the car is cold i can only start it with my foot on the gas...and i gotta keep my foot on it till it warms up...if i take my foot off before it warms up it just drops to five hundred rpm and just dies[/QUOTE]

what would u suggest doing??? i already put on a new iacv and reset the ecu and im still getting the light...

any chance that the iacv is just not getting power...how would i check it?
