Solid CEL, but car runs
maybe someone here can shed some light into my problem. Yesterday I threw code 41, which is o2 sensor heater, so I replaced the o2 sensor today. After replacing it, my seems to idle fine again, but I still get a check engine light. I jump the resistor, solid CEL. I take my car out for a drive to see if everything seems ok, and it does. It runs just like before I got code 41. But I noticed if I'm stopped at a stop light, the CEL will turn off about 50% of the time. Then as soon as I accelerate, the CEL will come back on at around 3000rpm in first gear and will stay on until I get to the next light. I've never had this happen before, and have no idea what it could be. Anyone have any ideas?

anyone? I have run out of ideas as to what this could be.
I tried a new ECU, and I sort of solved the CEL problem. I don't get a CEL anymore at all when driving, but it runs in limp mode all the time. I also found with the old ECU that when the CEL comes on, the car can run to redline no problem. But when the CEL is off, it runs in limp mode and there is either ignition or fuel cut or some sort of limiter at 4000rpm. So with the new ECU, it is always in limp mode and there is no CEL at all.
PLEASE does anyone have any ideas? I'm desperate. I've been trying to figure this out for 3 months, and I can only drive my car 4 months a year
