Default soch vtech head on a soch dx block

What kinda response will i get from vtech head on a dx block...what are the ups n downs (if any)....does anyone knw the compression?????Need info. a.s.a.p.

If you are tight on money, then it's a pretty good bang for the buck. But if you can, just save your money for a B-series motor. Of course a hybrid type motor like this may give you some reliablity problems if it isn't done right.
BTW: It's SOHC and VTEC, no H

There is no running of oil lines or drilling out dowel pin holes as with B-series hybrids (LS/VTEC or CRV/VTEC), so reliability is no issue.

Which block exactly are we talking about? I'm guessing a D16Y7?
