soap and water?

to clean a AEM filter? im soaking mine right now, its helkla dirty...but soap and water and 409 mixture shouldent hurt it right? i dont think so, im just double checking

go to Pep Boys or whatever and get the K&N recharge kit, comes with cleaner and oil and instr.
