Default smoking issue???!

Supposedly I have some smoke that comes out of my exhaust while speeding away from people, I did a compression test-OK, Leak Down- Better than 0%, I'm running Mobil1 5-30 and HAMP filter. MY cat is gone, my personal thought about what is wrong, and I've noticed a little louder than usual ticking coming from the valve train. Supposedly this smoke is blueish, while my tip in smoke is white. The car runs a bit rich as it backfires under decelleration. Any thoughts?

if you're running mobil 1 synthetic then its definitely not oil burning because synthetic wont smoke when it burns.

If you're cat free there will be a bit more of a visible jet trail...er exhaust. Are you sure it's burned oil and not unburned fuel, a rich mixture?

I havn't actually looked at the smoke yet. I was thinking that it had to do with the cat as well. I might have to try a cat that will work and see if that will help my situation. I don't have any oil consumption per se.....

If it's only a little bit at the higher end of the rev range and you're running a straight pipe and not burning oil, I'd check my A/F ratio and or ignore it. Assuming the plugs are not getting fouled and the car is running fine with no codes.
