Default Smog Results

I just got my smog done today and I passed. But I noticed when I was looking at the result sheet my Idle emission was
HC (ppm) at 97 the maximum allowable is 100 , so I just barely passed the idle emission. The 2500 rmp part was better, being at 38 the maximum allowable is 130. I don't have much mods except for a dc 4-2-1 header, comptech airbox, and Greddy Evo exhaust. I also advance my timing to 17 BTDC. You guys have any idea why would my idle emission would be so so close to failing? Thanks

Simple let the car idle for a long time before you take it to be tested. Don't shut the car off when you are there either leave it running.....this keeps the Catalytic converter nice and hot to do it's job.
