small amount inside gas tank ?
A friend of mine just finished repainting his gas tank(spray paint, high temp kind) and i noticed he got a little paint in the inside. the part where you put the fuel pump goes in.
is he going to have a problem once he puts gas back in it ? i said he might.

Best would be to take a cloth of paint thinner and with the gas tank empty try to clean up as much paint as you can reach for.
Otherwise if it's a thin coat of overspray, with it completely dry it shouldn't harm the engine/fuel at all. Unless he painted a thick layer, the gas might eat at it after a while and cause it to chip and flake into the gasoline.

well was the gas tank empty? the mold is from the water/gas that has been there sometime.
I'd just clean up as much with a clean dry cloth and it should be perfectly fine
