Slave Cylinder not there??? It's missing! Please help!!
Hey guys, I had to create a new user name, so pardon the lack of posts. I just installed a new clutch/flywheel etc., and my clutch pedal sinks right to the floor when I tap it, so I need to bleed it, but, my slave cylinder is not there! There is just a small bracket in it's place...how the heck am I supposed to bleed my clutch, and where is my slave cylinder??? This is on a 1990 integra by the way, any help is much appreaciated!!
Is your clutch cable or hydraulic. I know pre-92 Civic's were cable, not sure about Integras.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if you have a cable tranny then you wouldn't have a slave cylinder since it's not hydraulically acutated.

That's correct. If your clutch is cable-operated, there's NO slave cylinder. Also there's no clutch master cylinder. If you're not sure, look for a clutch fluid reservoir. It should be next to the brake fluid reservoir, directly above/forward from the clutch pedal.
There is no slave cylinder because G2 Integras used a cable to operate the clutch. The cable runs along the top of the engine and connects to the transmission at the front. The adjuster is on the transmission where the cable attaches to the clutch fork.
