skunk2 stud install?
i need help installing skunk2 extended wheel studs on my 92 cx..whats the theory behind pressing the hub and ****? do you really have to do this?..
I dunno the whole story, i couldn't explain it... I bought the studs and took my knuckles and trailing arms to the shop and said "here, put these in"... cost me $80 in labor
if your talking about pressing them into the hub... what you gotta do is just Hit out the old ones with a hammer.. then put the new ones in and grab some washers that go over the stud but not to loose, next grab your lug nut and an impact gun and tighten it down until it's seated fully.. put a little oil on the lug nut..
i know on the 96-00 you can't replace the front ones unless you remove the hub assembly... the rear if you have disk (like my Si) then you should be able to just knock em out like i did..
don't buy the skunk2, get the arp.
