Default Skunk2 Stage2's vs. Crower stage 2's ?

I curently have crower stage 2's in my motor...is it worth the effort to swap to Skunk2 stage 2's or go even bigger than that?

crowers II are good for midrange. Skunks are for top end muck like the Jun III's.

Crower just does not make a very good cam. I have broke 2 in my H-Seris and 1-in my B seris. And no it was not my fault, the cams were defective. I have stuck with Jun since and been very happy.

i dont know to much about the crowers for the VTEC motors.. but i know it does wonders for the LS motors... yet we dont have really much choice since Skunk2, Jun, Toda, and Spoon cams only makes cams for VTEC motors..

JUN3/Killers are my favorite... Then SK2st2/3's would be nice, they are high overlap cams which like high compression (12.3:1 will work) Then maybe it's just me but I hate Crower and Toda, we just haven't had any good luck with them... Actually Toda B's lost power on my friend's 12.0:1 CRVTEC/EJ6 over the CTR IN and GSR EX cam... That was dyno tuned, only with a VAFC tho, where as with the CTR cam it was only tuned by feel... 12.62@107 full interior with the CTR cam (no dyno tuning) 13.31@101 after 20 pulls on the dyno with the same setup... My other friend has the same setup in his EH2... The only difference is he is running Hondata and 11.5:1 slugs... It's slow as **** and his best is 12.90@106... Well sorry I sorta went off, those damn cams just **** me off... Just my $0.02... Peace

Are skunks stage 1 ok for a turbo set up with crower springs and retainers?

For turbo I would recommend a turbo cam, OE has worked fine for us so far tho we will be testing some soon on the dyno... SK2ST1's have have more lift and duration than an OE cam so I'm sure they would be okay... What you want is a high lift cam with low duration, in turn keeping your dynamic compression up... If you have them and a dyno why not try it out... We actually might try that on Brian's car so i'll let ya know... Peace
