I've searched but haven't found the answer. I know the Stage 1 cams are similar to type R cams but do they make power past 8200rpm ?

I currently have a B16 and was wondering if I need to upgrade the valvetrain at all w/ these cams. From what I've read so far it seems most people just keep the stock redline. If these cams do make power past 8200rpm will I just need valve springs or will I also need valves too?

Also, is it worth bumping up the compression a little with a thinner headgasket for these cams?
