I purchased a skunk2 mega-power exhaust from Jo-Tech motor sports on 6/13/2003…At the beginning I was very happy with the exhaust it sounded sweet and even got 2 friends to get one as well. Well a few weeks ago I hear this rattling noise so I look under my car, tighten all the nuts and thought my problem was fixed…still a annoying rattling noise…so I took my exhaust off a few minutes ago...my first piece from my cat to the mid section is ratting inside my resonator…like something inside is chipped off...man it gets loud and annoying
and suggestions?

 

Call up skunk2 and see if they will warranty it. If it's new they should warranty it without a problem. My friend had a similar problem with a dc sports exhaust except his muffler honey-comb was coming apart and they worked out a deal with him to replace it. I think he paid 200 for the replacement axle-back along with a header.

 

thanks, i will do that but its sunday and on sunday the performance shops seem to think the world closes on sunday hehe thanks anyway!
