Quieting a Skunk2 Exhaust

Quieting a Skunk2 Exhaust
Hi guys/gals
I have just recently purchased a 92 Civic w/ a B18C5 engine and it has a Skunk2 Exhaust. Personally I think that the exhaust is too loud for my liking and plus I live in a nice quiet residential neighbourhood. I've researched and found that it would be better to put in a resonator to quiet it down rather than a silencer since you would be losing performance. However I read up on the Skunk2 site that the exhaust already has a resonator equipped to it.
What would I have to do to quiet it down too have a nice low, deep rumble and not too crazily loud at full throttle?
Thanks.

Get a longer resonator, or if you are really crazy get two resonators. Its much more preferable to put a longer resonator than to have a silencer on it. Plus it will sounds a lot better too.

Skunk2 exhaust's are notorious for being too damn loud. The previous owner may have taken off the cat, if so I'd recommend getting a carsound high-flow cat and a big fat resonator.
