Default Skunk 2 or Koyo radiator?

I have to get a new radiator for a 1998 civic DX coupe with a B20b motor swap. Which of the two radiators should I get? Also what slim line fan is there that would mount to either of those?

This discussion came up in the FI just a few weeks ago. Honestly the koyo is a better radiator...at a higher cost. The only thing I dont like is you need to trim radiator support/modify lower tabs to make it fit. Experienced users like theshodan will insist on using the koyo unit, but remember he uses his car for auto X so he would need better cooling then I will and the cheaper radiators work fine for me and I dont need to trim or modify anything.

I personally have the skunk2 and it seems to cool quite well no problems with it. In the past I have run chinese radiators CXRACING to be specific I had 2 units on 2 different cars they both worked well. Slim fans/shrouds will fit all 3 radiators. I am still using my original CXRACING shroud/slim fan on my skunk2 radiator I have had this fan for about 5 years and still works great to this day.

Awesome thanks. So no modification needed on the skunk2 right?

none at all, I always recommend running a shroud and slim fan you can get on ebay for 50-80 for cxracing and about 150 for a mishimoto. I don't remember offhand but i know the CXRACING is much cheaper and works fine for me, and im boosted
