Replacing piston on number 3 ..itr bottom end.

I think im gonna leave the main bearings alone(re use them) and possibly replace the rod bearing on number 3( THE MOTOR IS STILL IN THE CAR btw)

code is x24- from my research is brown /brown(no i dont have a helms )


is it alright to just toss in a new bearing from acura or shoudl I buy the brown ones, plastigauge(to check ) and then use them?

what are the chances of the bearing being out of spec when I get them?

What with the reasonable price of Plastigage, why not use it just for piece of mind.

cause I am t3h laZY! ahhaha. i need to put the motor back together asap.

the old bearing is fine other then a nice score down the middle..im guessing from debris in the motor..thats why im thinking of replacing it..i can feel it with my finger nail.
