Default should i go b18c1 or b20b???

i have the b18c1 in my car right now with intake, clutch, cam gears, test pipe with full cat and a chipped out p28 ecu. best 1/4 time was 14.0 on street tires @ CMI. should i throw in the b20???? it's just sitting in the garage. yes, i want to go crvtec, but right now, i'm low on cash. do you guys think the b20 without the vtec would get time slips like this?

should i go b18c1 w/turbo or b20b w/turbo??? yes, i have the complete turbo kit in the garage too. i would love to go b20 vtec w/turbo, but shops are charging a grip to do the vtec on the b20.

it's going on a '92 hatch.

You should swap in the b20 and throw the turbo in. If its still not fast enough, then put the vtec head on. That way you can have the gsr head prepped and make it an easy job. Most of the work is for the head so you can take your time and save money or whatever.

N/A Non Vtec B20 would not run better than your N/A b18c1.
