I will need a new set of rebars if I want to install my buddy club kit on unless if I shave off my old ones. Im not exactly sure what rebars do but its good for safety incase of collision right? I was quoted $270 for a set do you think these are good prices? Should I get them or save the dough? Thanks in advance.

Rebar is the bumper support behind your front and rear bumpers. Its there to protect your car against collisions under 5 or 10mph. There are a million posts on this topic. Most people take them off to reduce weight and others think its the end of the world and your car is a death trap without. They feel its not worth the risk just to save a couple of pounds. Personally mine are gone when spring comes.
