Default shorter EK lca's

i've heard in the past that SRR LCA's are shorter than stock spec, but andy and perpetual concepts straightened me out on that idea. does ANY company make shorter LCA's?

Not only that, but you would have a very screwed up suspension geometry. Dare I ask why you want shorter lower control arms?

because for some reason with my CTR 5 lug, if i adjust my camber to "normal", it rubs on my fender. it just seems to stick out a hair extra w/ that setup for some reason. it just looks like **** how the wheel sits.

What do you have your camber set at? If you have wide tires and wheels, lower the car and set the camber to 0, it'll probably rub. Making the lower control arms shorter will pull the bottom of the wheel inward, causing the top to more outward, giving positive camber. If you try to remedy the situation by adjusting the upper control arms, eventually you might end up with axles that bind up and really wierd suspension geometry that'll probably lead to fucked up handling. A good solution is giving the car around -1* to -1.5* camber. This isn't enough to really destroy a tire, but can help with tire rub.

Let us know what wheel and suspension upgrades you have for more info.

With that kind of offset, you shouldn't have too much trouble fitting things. Is the camber set to 0?

PS, dyndns and OEM exhaust rule!

i'll try and get pics tonight... the camber isn't the worst i've seen, but its not the greatest. i want to get my fenders rolled, but don't want to do it myself. i think if i get them rolled, i can set the camber closer to where i want it.

I have about -1.7* on mine with 15x7, and I never rub. The tire wear is fine too. Post pics and we'll see.
