Does anyone have a detailed description or a link with photos on how to do a short
shifter install on a 92 civic cx? I would like to put this on soon, but dont know where to start with it. Help please?

 

jack up your car, remove the bolt connecting your shifter to the shift rod, and pull you stock shifter through. pop your new one in. it's pretty easy. i have a 93 cx. it took me about 40 mintues because the pervious owner have the wrong bolt in to begin with, then my shifter came with the wrong bolt. if it doesn't go that way for you don't worry. i've had to take the bracket on the inside of the car off before, because the first one being installed wrong. install on this was just as easy as intake for me. just had to crawl under the car.

Im installing my Skunk2 Short Shifter in my DC2 and Im trying to follow the directions on http://www.overboost.com/story.asp?id=360. But I cant get my damn B pipe off. How the hell do I get the top most bolt off my cat? Its rusted on so I need a ton of torque to break it free but its so tight I cant get anything big in there!!
