Default Short shifter

Just installed a DC sport short shifter on my 94vtec Lude and thought that I would give my .02. I actually cut the shifter by 7/8" the week before to slightly decrease the throw, but did not spend too much time driving since then. (Weekend car)

The short shifter did cut down around 30% of the throw and I am getting use to the feel. The neutral position is slightly forward of where it use to be and it now takes a little more effort to get it into gear and also to switch between them. (Less leverage)
It's a quick mod and you just need to take some of the plastic off of the surrounding boot as you might already know.
