Default short ram w/hydrolock dilema>

i have a iceman intake. for the fall and winter coming, it rains here alot so i'm worried of hydrolock. If i convert into short ram, there is NO possible way to hydrolock correct? Also, since its short ram, can i just leave the resonator behind the bumper and not worry abou it? thanks

If you are driving through 1ft+ of water, nothing will guarantee you won't injest water into the intake - Short ram or not.

injesting water into the intake is a lot different than hydrolocking.

I say you'll be fine with the CAI, just don't drive through any HUGE puddles. a little water in your intake won't hurt anything.

I believe the entire filter must be submerged in order to hydrolock. It is possible, but you have to drive through some pretty deep water (AEM instructions say dont traverse water over 16" deep). Ive had a CAI for about two years now throughout the seasons, and no problems as of yet.
