Default in the shop!

GSR is going into the shop Monday...Big bucks I'm dropping, but it's my little present to myself.....About $1700 in labor, including timing belt and water pump.

$1570 in parts (Skunk2 Stage2 cams, cam gears, valve springs, retainers, Skunk2 intake manifold.

Total= $3270.00 (AutoAuthority in Fairfax) Acura Master Techs

This hobby is to addicting...I'll let you guys know how it works out...

ps. 12 months on all labor done, which I thought was pretty good...

Opinions? Since most of you know much more about these mods and GSR's in general, I just would like to get a few opinons? Good deal? Rip off? Good mods? Definitely dyno, without any fuel regulator?

Thanks guys

-forgot a ITR rear sway is going on as well..labor included.

If you took half of that labor and bought tools, and got someone to help for a case of beer. Think how much satisfaction you would have knowing you built it yourself and the extra money you have for more parts.

Spade who spent a total of 6 hours doing his suspension but it cost a meager 100 dollars.

(oh and I did the front one day and the rear the next....so yeah it looked silly.)

The thing is, I don't know anybody that could do this kind of work, and there is NO way I could do it myself..I can change my oil and brake pads, that's about it..I also get a warranty on this, which makes me feel more comfortable. Supposedly this is one of the best shops in the country.
