Default Shock question

if i lower my 98 coupe on either the Eibach Pro-Kit springs or the sportline springs is it going to be necessary to get new shocks?

Not until the old ones go. The spring rates on Eibachs aren't very serious, but if you want the best possible suspension performance from your new setup, the stock shocks are completely inadequate (for serious performance driving).

i would recommend getting new shocks, it will be cheaper and more time consuming in the long run.

I ran Ground Control coilovers on stock shocks for a year before I got aftermarket ones. Ride was a little bumpy, but they were fine when I took them off.
