If you are replacing the springs too then no. Im not sure about koni. I think they have 3 perches for different height.

Springs lower the car. Depends on which springs thou.

im just replacing shocks but i heard that the ride height will be a little higher after replacing shocks, due to old ones being blown. Im getting koni shocks and if it sits a little higher i may want to put it on a different perch. thats why i needed to know if ride height will be affected after replacing shocks. Thanks.

you will have a stock ride height due to your stock springs. Your car will not be higher thou.

Im not sure about the spring perches on the koni's thou coz I haven't worked on one.

You'll be at stock height. With the Konis you can drop them 22 mm or so.

IMHO, you should get some new springs while you are in there. You'll be doing an awful lot of labor just to replace blown shocks with high-priced performance shocks, without gaining any performance.

bottom line is, if the shocks aren't height adjustable, then youll have the same ride height.

how much did 5zigen drop your car from original height? Let's say around 40mm drop from stock. Well your new shocks will give you 40mm drop from stock using the 5 zigen springs...Bottomline is it will not raise it.
