Default Shock/coilover/koni/omnipower question

I have found Koni Yellows for my car fr about $500 shipped. I can get the Omni coilovers for anly $150 more. I have some Sprint race springs (some say they sucks, some don't). Why are these Yellows supposed to be so great? I kinda just wanna sell my Sprints and save for the Omni's.

It Depends, Koni's are lifetime sholcs you buy them run them for yers wear them out send them back to get rebuilt and repeat.

What are you going to be doing with your car, if your just lowering your car for looks then I would get the omni's they seems to be a decent product that offer a decent ride and handeling according to the reviews I have read. If you are going to get serious about auto-x or HPDE/Road Race then I would get the yellows as they are probably more versiatile.

Debate about Omnipower coilovers:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=874262

(I just switched from Koni Yellows on stock springs to Omnipower sport 12K/10K. Wanted stronger springs, and the adjustability of ride height from a coilover. I really like them in terms of ride, but I have NOT taken them on a track yet. Just installed earlier in December.)

Why are Koni's "better"?

(This IS the suspension forum, I KNEW it!)

Those threads ought to keep you busy for an hour or so. Have fun.

1. Get the Konis
2. Sell the sprint springs crap
3. Buy a used set of GC`s
4. Enjoy your kick-*** setup

1) Buy Omni's for $575 shipped.
2) Install
3) Drop car and be a stunna!
4) Raise car when you start to wear holes in your wheel wells
5) Cornerweight and get alignment when your tires start to wear funny
6) Enjoy the feeling of knowing your ineptitude did not cause your car to handle like crap because you don't know how to adjust shocks properly.
7) Get crazy and swap the front and rear shocks and springs to get that turn-in you're looking for. Re-corrnerweight. (Omni shocks can be swapped front/rear, along with their springs)

My dissenting 2 cents.
