anyone know the shipping weight of a B16 bottom end with internals?

yes i searched...but found nothing except complete swaps.

I shipped a b16 block a few years ago. It was around 100lbs if I can remember right.

I just bought a complete GSR shortblock and it was pretty heavy atleast 100

I sold a b16 shortblock complete with timing cover, crank pulley, oil filter, etc. and it was 113 lbs. once on the crate and ready to ship

hey i'm trying to send my gsr head out to get some work done, for you guys who sent large items, any tips to help ship my head out, like how to pact it, where to get materials to pack it, and do you use any wood lining on the bottom. Also who will send items this big? ups? help appreciated thanks

USPS could if its only the head but it'd probably be expensive anywhere from 50 to like 90 but itll get there in actual 2-3 days

When I ship shortblocks I go to Target and buy these lockable tubs for $20. They are tan colored with black tops. I have used dense foam and cardboard to use as a filler around the block then I use a couple screws to keep the lid on during transit. No problems so far.
