ShiftLight Problem? Premature lightculation.
I have a stock EG Honda Civic EX w/ stock motor and basic bolt-ons.
I have an AutoMeter Shiftlight w/ a 7.2K Pill.
Everytime I hit 7200RPM, the shiftlight turns always turns on as it should.
However, there are random instances when I just floor it, the shiftlight will flash on anywhere from 4000rpm - 6000rpm, and then it'll turn on at 7200RPM again like it usually should.
Any reason why the shiftlight might flash once randomly under hard acceleration?

if it runs off the distributor, then it could be that its overloaded when theres a quick increase maybe, ??hmm..also check grounds, lol
*bump* I checked the ground, it's working fine. It runs straight off the distributor, the positive is running from the fuse box, and the ground is on a solid bolt on the chasis.
