i had to replace the bottom end on my car it is a 97 civic. now that i put the tranny all that on it wont go into gear when it is running. it will do it fine when it is turned off though. what could be my problem? this is really starting to bug me cuz i have messed with it for 2 days and still cant figure it out. also my car sat for like 5 months before doing this with the ebrake on and now my back brakes are locked. anyone know what this could be also thanks for the help

 

damn that sucks, for the ebrake, maybe they got rusted together in those 5 months, you gotta take off the rear wheels and behind the drums, in the back of the drum i mean, theres a hole, you gotta stick a screwdriver or something in there to back out the shoes. or pound at it with a mallet.
the tranny thing, do you got enough fluid in there?
