Ignition timming for 2000 Civic DX
Does anyone out there know the stock settings for the ignition timming for the 2000 Civic DX? I have a timming light, with adjustable settings and am not possitive as to which amount of degrees to set it too. I also have a Hanes manual, but unfortunately they only mention the timming settings for the Si. Guess they didn't expect for people to be screwing around with DXs. Thanks in advance.
Yes, that is what the manual said as well, but I looked and there was nothing concerning the timming on my stickers. I have a carbon-fiber hood after I dove under a Toyota Tacoma and messed up the stock hood. I kept it though. Anyone else know the timming degrees for the DX?
In that case, just throw a timing light on it and look for the red mark. Regardless of where it is, the red mark is where it should be....assuming that the motor still has the stock crank pulley and that it has a red mark.
