I just did a B-series swap in my 97 hatch, and the shifter feels like crap. I hard to distinguish first and third and fifth apart from one another same with second and forth. it barely moves from side to side making it hard to tell. i dont want to misshift at the track and go from second to first thinking it was third. My buddy was telling me its the shift linkage, but the shaft in the transmission that selects the gear doesnt turn as much as some other ones i had. The Transmission doesnt grind at all and was driven like an old lady.
