Default Shifting is getting harder.

So, I got my car back from the shop yesterday, which means I haven't driven it for a few days. When I sat back into it again, it seemed that it was harder to shift. When I say harder I mean just physically getting it into gear. Does this have something to do with transmission fluids? It was cold outside, could that affect it?

if they worked on the tranny area, they may have tightened the shift stabilizer too much, and it makes it a bitch to shift

the shift stabilizer is the bar that runs parallel to the shift linkage, it has a 12mm bolt that holds it to the tranny with a bushing in it.
