Shifter is EVERYWHERE.... help needed
Alright, i had all the bushing changed on the shifter linkage, including the one that hold the shift stick. still, when I am in gear, I can move the shifter all over the place, like if it were not in gear. worst, when I am in neutral, i can ''almost', make a full circle movement with the shifter ... But the gears and everything is A1, I am not missing nothing to the rod assembly. Anyone knows what can be wrong, it is in a 95 integra automatic now manual with b18b engine and tranny OEM.
Thanks

Its usually the joint at the end, head over to rpiracing.com and talk to them about it. They had a solution for it, it was not cheap though.
I am sure everything is tigh and correct.. my concern is, can it be inside the tranny ? because the gears don't grind or no special noise... it get into gears real great...

Did you skip over my post ? I told you what the problem most likely, and now they you said everything else it tight, its most likely the joint. There is no way you can really tell the joint is bad by wiggling it, they get old over time. The only way you will really know if its the joint is if you get it replaced.

part 28, mine was crushed, and i found only after i had to take the entire assembly apart for bushings install. even a slightest play in that pin will result in a sloppy shifter.

The joint I'm talking about is right by the shifter pin #28 . That little part wobbler's back and forth. Well the people at rpiracing.com have found a way to fix it by using a different type of joint.

I had the same problem with my tranny... Turned out the 3 bolts that hold the shifter assembly inside the tranny worked there way loose. Hopefully thats not it, but for me, that was the problem. All three were loose and 2 were almost half way out.
Two of the bolts are circled here, the other one can't be seen.

I had the same problem after i did my swap. My shifter was really loose and i could pull it up and push it down, along with a ton of slop between the gears and a ton of looseness. If yours is also able to do that you might have the same problem. My problem was there was no bushing on the bolt that is right under the shifter holding it down. So the bolt was tight and everything, but the head of it was too small so it slid right through the hole.
