My car does the same thing, your okay it just that maybe you don't got shifter bushings. Mine doesn't have any and it does that.....
Last week I let my friend test drive my car and he said your trany is all fawked up and I just laugh and say " You don't know nothing about cars do you, how can you tell if my tranny is messup by just wiggling my shifter...all my gears go in good and pull strong and no grinds, it's just I haven't had time to put in my shifter bushing to get rid of the little play in the shifter....

what causes the bushings to go out besides the fact that i have a broken bell housing and the 2 lower bolts on the tranny are not connected so when i shift the whole engine moves at the same time..

Re: My shifter acting weird (jdm98hb)
yea i need to get the new bell housing soon tonight we get to race the cops at the track and i cant run cuz there is no point .. anyways fixed the problem .. there are bolts right under the shifter one that goes left to right and it came loose cuz the nut feel off. may have been caused by all the extra vibration i get with the new mount kit that i have...
thanks for the advice though guys.
